Dr. Bannon is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship-training in sports medicine.

He completed his undergraduate degree at Regis College in Denver, Colorado. He then attended Autonomous University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Followed by a degree in medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Bannon completed his residency at SUNY in the department of orthopaedics in Buffalo, New York. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine in the Department of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Bannon has additional training in Trauma and Adult Reconstruction at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Bannon has served as Chief for the Division of Orthopaedics in the Department of Surgery at Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, NY. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Society of the State of New York and a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine.
