Robert J. Hedderman, M.D.

Dr. Hedderman's area of orthopaedic interest are Sports Medicine, Joint Replacement and General Orthopaedics.

Dr. Hedderman is certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is an assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Albany Medical Center.

Dr. Hedderman has many memberships in professional societies. Participating in the American Medical Association, Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, Albany County and New York State Medical Society, New York State Orthopaedic Society as well as the Eastern Orthopaedic Association. He is the team physician for the College of St. Rose. The doctor has affiliation with Albany Medical Center and St. Peters Hospital.

Dr. Hedderman received his medical degree from Albany Medical Center in 1982. He completed his internship and residency at Albany Medical Center. He then served in the US Army as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with the rank of Major. Dr. Hedderman joined Capital Region Orthopaedics in 1990.

Dr. Hedderman sees patients at the Albany, Clifton Park, and Guilderland offices.
